BELMONT PARK and CLAN RANALD
BELTED GALLOWAY STUDS.

Belmont Park has been breeding black and dun Belted Galloway cattle since 1975.
The stud commenced with three females from Uganda stud followed with the importation of thirteen head from New Zealand.

Clan Ranald first registered belties in 1991 using Belmont Park females.

The two studs now have over one hundred registered breeders, which is believed to be the largest herd in the Southern Hemisphere.
 
Both studs are located in the Adelaide Hills, approximately 40km from the Adelaide airport.
